The Muthialpet group of schools is registered institution under the Indian Companies ACT as “NOT FOR PROFIT” Company, The schools are managed by the Board of Directors, headed & guided by the President and the Secretary, who is the Correspondent and heads the administration of the schools with the support of the board & Headmasters of the school.
The Board meets every month and discuss school matter for the development & smooth functioning of the schools.
Mr.K.S.Venugopala aged 77 years, was born in Thambu Chetty Street, Muthialpet, where our school exist. He is the son of (Late) Mr.K.Sreenivasan, who was the director of our school. Mr.K.S.Venugopala is in our MHS School board for over 20 years. He is a Trustee in Vengu Chetty Charities and two other trusts. He is an philanthropist, extending financial support to the weaker section. Mr.K.S.Venugopala is an Industrialist, who is a whole time director in Gopuram Enterprises Private Limited. Mrs.V.Dhanalakshmi, his wife’s great grand father Mr.P.Somasundaram Chettiar was the founder president of this school.
He is an engineer by qualification and worked in Bharath Atomic Research Center, Mumbai and Fast Breeder Test Reactor(FBTR) in the Indra Gandhi Center for Atomic Reasearch(IGCAR), Kalpakkam. He had undergone a professional Training in fast reactor for 3 month in Russia. He worked as Oracle DBA in Atlanta Georgia and Newjersey USA from 2003 to 2006 . Currently he is working as a senior oracle Data Base Administrator for EWM Global an American Company.
He is a practicing Advocate in the Chennai High Court. He is a son of Late Dr.Ratnavel Subramaniam, who was the instrumental in starting the Girls School and served as a president in the Board for over 25 years.
He started his law profession since 1976 and was specialized in corporate and taxation laws. He was first appointed as an Addl Judge of High court of Madras in he year 2005 and became a permanent Judge from 2007 to 2013. He was actively involved in the sports during his college days and lead the basket ball team for Loyola College and Law college.
He was an old student of The Muthialpet Hr. Sec. School. He is running the textile business at Mannady for a long time. He was the president of Lions club and active member in the friends association and Old boys Association of The Muthialpet Hr. Sec. School. He is a social worker and he has been in the board for over 25 years.
She was an old student of Dr. Ratnavel Subramaniam Muthialpet Girls Hr. Sec. School. She is the daughter of Dr. P. P. PALANI, M.D., former vice president of the Board of Management of The Muthialpet Hr. Sec. School. She did her M.B.B.S., and M.S., from The Madras Medical College and one of the notable surgeon in chennai. She is the head of dept in Madras Medical College Hospital. She helps the poor and needy people for the medical treatment. She serves in the Board for over 10 years.
He is an old student of The Muthialpet Hr. Sec. School and doing business in Chennai. He is the Treasurer of the Old boys association of MHSS and through which he is honoring the teachers and the students who scores first, second ranks in the public examination. He is also president of the Kandakottam seva sangam in Chennai. He is a very active and enthusiastic person and doing philanthropic service to society.
He is an investment consultant, son of Late Mr.P.Meenakshi Sundaram, who served as a president in the Board for over 25 years and great grand son of Palayam Somasunndaram Chettiar, who is one of the founder of the school.
